OUR STORY

About NMF Uganda

Founded in 2019 and officially registered in 2022 under the Non-Government Organization Act of Uganda, Namugga Mable Foundation Uganda (NMF Uganda) is a Christian faith-based nonprofit organization committed to transforming lives through education and women empowerment.

Originally a grassroots initiative focused on improving educational outcomes for vulnerable children, NMF Uganda has steadily grown into a vibrant organization that now supports both children’s access to quality education and the economic empowerment of single mothers across communities in Wakiso and beyond.

A key milestone in 2022 was the construction of Trey Junior School, NMF Uganda’s flagship community-based school located in rural Wakiso District. The school serves as a cornerstone for providing free, quality education to the most vulnerable children—those who would otherwise be left behind due to poverty or lack of access.

This achievement underscores NMF Uganda’s deep commitment to addressing the root causes of inequality through education, skills development, and social empowerment.

Through inclusive, community-driven programs, NMF Uganda is building a future where:

•Single mothers gain skills, financial independence, and confidence to provide for their families and live with dignity.

Objectives

To develop and implement inclusive, community-driven educational programs that enhance learning experiences, improve academic outcomes, and address the unique needs of vulnerable children in underserved rural areas.

To empower single mothers through access to support services and economic opportunities, including financial literacy, vocational training, mentorship, and parenting guidance—helping them achieve long-term stability and independence.

To promote gender equality and family well-being by equipping women with the skills, confidence, and resources to provide for their families and contribute meaningfully to community development.

To measure and evaluate impact by regularly assessing the effectiveness of NMF Uganda’s programs, using data and community feedback to continuously improve and respond to evolving needs.
