We were honored to host the Smile I Stutter team at Trey Junior School for four incredible days! Their visit was a memorable experience for Trey and the entire NMF Uganda community.

A Special Visit Filled with Learning and Connection

The Smile I Stutter team dedicated one day to community outreach, visiting beneficiaries of NMF Uganda, and the remaining three days at Trey Junior School, where they engaged with students and teachers through interactive learning, encouragement, and fun activities.

The team shared powerful messages about overcoming speech challenges, building confidence, and embracing uniqueness. Their interactive sessions allowed students to share experiences and learn practical ways to improve their communication skills.

Key Highlights from the Visit

✅ Raising Awareness on Speech Differences : Encouraging self-acceptance and open conversations about speech challenges.
✅ Fun & Engaging Activities : Including chair dancing, stone picking, cultural dances, and exhibitions.
✅ Teacher and Student Interactions: Meaningful conversations and shared learning experiences.

The visit left a deep and lasting impact, inspiring our students to embrace their voices and express themselves without fear. The experience was filled with joy, learning, and empowerment, reminding us all that our voices matter.
